PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:

  • Do not consume caffeine, alcohol, or blood thinning medications/supplements 48 hours prior to your procedure.

    • Please note: NSAIDS (ibuprofen, aspirin), Caffeine, Alcohol, Pre-Workout, Anti-Inflammatories (ie Ginger, Turmeric), Niacin (Vitamin B3), Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, and Hair/Skin/Nail Supplements are all known to thin blood. Going in to a brow tattoo appointment or any tattoo appointment with thinned blood increases your risk of infection and further, could negatively impact the way that you heal.

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning on your face the week of your procedure.

  • Discontinue Retin-A, Chemical and Laser Peels, microdermabrasions, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), and any chemical exfoliant or "brightening" skin care products at least 6 weeks prior to your procedure.

    • Note: Once your eyebrows have fully healed, you should avoid using these products on/around the eyebrow area to prevent premature fading.

  • For 3 weeks prior to and 3 weeks after any eyebrow tattoo procedure, avoid botox and fillers on the forehead, temple, and eye areas.

  • No brow waxing, tinting, threading, or plucking your eyebrows for 72 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Clients fighting a life-threatening illness that are currently undergoing aggressive treatments and or therapies will only be considered a microblading candidate on a case-by-case basis, and only with an overseeing physician's note and approval.
